I had read the reviews saying this product was lightweight, and a few bad reviews, but there were others that liked it just fine. There are always opinions, right? Well, I bought not one package, but TWO, which only shows that I am an optimist. When they arrived, I opened the package...they looked like I had expected, but they might as well been made of flimsy paper. Even in the soft garden soil of my yard, they were difficult to hammer into the ground, the second one broke entirely in frustration. I had purchased them simply to mark special plantings so the yard man wouldn't weedwhack into the beds. I suppose they served that. I will try to find some use for them and recycle them, but for heaven's sake and your own sanity -- DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.Easy to install once ground is loosened. Stakes bend fairly easy, maybe too easy. Not the sturdiest but the price is fine. I ordered the second set after ordering one prior so can't be all bad.The product is very nice in appearance, but the materials are thin and flimsy. They suggest you use a mallet to put it in the ground but when you do that they just bend. If the dirt is dry and/or hard, they will bend and break. I thought they would be sturdier and easier to push into the dirt.It looks better in the pictures than in reality. It is made of plastic and looks very plasticAlthough we had not had rain for quite awhile, making it much harder to install, the end result was worth it. This border pieces stay upright despite our dogs and squirrels who wonder around knocking less sturdy borders over.FlimsyWorked for what I needed in my garden.They worked out great I love them
