Lucia Outdoor Garden Bench - Best Selling Weather-Resistant Patio Furniture for Backyard, Porch, and Garden Relaxation

I was looking forward to putting this bench in my rose garden. It is attractive, sturdy and comfortable. Unfortunately, one of the arms is the wrong length for the pre-drilled anchor holes. While I tried to force the arm into place, the arm broke. Very frustrating and disappointing.Purchased this bench to use to admire our large Rock garden. The positives are ... It is a very sturdy and beautiful bench when assembled. However, therein lies the problem! As other reviews state.... The holes that are predrilled do not all match up with the fixed screws! Plus, some of those fixed screws are not straight or angeled correctly and need to be hammered just to get it into it's hole. Then, to make matters worse, they labeled the legs incorrectly ..... So, when assembled, they didn't look quite correct. Decided to switch them from front to back and sure enough, they had been labeled incorrectly. Then, to really make matters awful....the holes for both arms did not match up to put the screws in! Had to drill new holes with a large metel drill bit! It slipped while drilling and put a nice slice in my thumb! Ouch! Even if you do not tighten all the screws and nuts and just try to assemble it just so it is together, there is still no way you can assemble it without modifications! They certainly need to improve the predrilled holes.Beautiful bench. Could be a little bit more sturdy, but still perfectly fine and a good deal for the price. I purchased it for the school bus stop for my 2 kids, but I wouldn't sit two large adults on it.Nice bench with the usual Chinese incomprehensible instructions. Much smaller than listed in the description with the bench width actually being 38.5" and not 45.5". Even accounting for the flaring and spreading legs it is more like 41.5" or 42.5". 3 - 4 inches makes a big difference.This is really a nice bench. It's very attractive and very comfortable for two adults and our Doodle. The parts were nicely packaged and the pieces fit together quite well, so assembly was pretty straight forward. We looked at a lot of patio benches and garden benches for our pool/patio, and feel fortunate that we found this. And, remarkably, it stays cool to the touch even in the Texas heat. Our only regret is that we didn't buy two of them. Highly recommend.We have purchased 6 of these benches over the years and they are beautiful and heavy. The cast aluminum does not rust and they still look new after years of use.One star less because it took longer then expected to assemble: some holes did not line up and had to use my Dremel to enlarge two holesOk for looks not so comfortable to sit long .But is good quality and very sturdy.
