When it first arrived - the box was broken, with a giant gouge taken out of it, and one giant rock with a metal pipe sticking out. i noticed they didn't pack it with any padding, so I was like oh no! but then I opened the box and it was intentionally packed with the other rocks separated from the largest (to make it fit in the box). No issues/damage etc to any rocks. The top fits on the largest rock perfectly.. no visible "pipe". I am happy with it! All of the rocks are gray - there is no color variation at all between the rocks. Luckily I live in Seattle, so the rain will weather these before the end of the year, but it is a gray - clean, one tone sculpture if you are thinking about putting it inside. I looked around a bit before choosing this Cairn. I chose this one because it had the best reviews. I am happy I did! Photo taken less than 5 minutes out of the box.
